The department maintains and operates 14 municipal park and recreational facilities which provide an abundance of amenities for every age and lifestyle, and offer a variety of activities and special events throughout the year to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Coordinated by Recreation Services, additional support comes from many community groups, businesses, and volunteers.

Park and Recreation staff
works with the 55+ Club, the Arts Council of Greater Weston and the Weston Sports Alliance to assist in the various programming needs and logistics of these organizations. They inspect and repair all city playgrounds, oversee the activities at 3 major sports parks 15 hours per day, including the maintenance and striping of all athletic fields and open space on 220 acres of parks.
