The program works with teens and young adults (14-21 years of age) by allowing them to interact with law enforcement and other community advisors in a serious, regimented atmosphere where the students can demonstrate their personal initiative. The program offers young adults the opportunity to learn and experience lawful citizenship as they participate, side-by-side with certified BSO deputies in ongoing training and community service projects.

Weston Police Services Academy
The Police Services Academy is offered in the summer, to a limited number of Weston residents ages 12-16. With support from the City of Weston, this program provides kids the opportunity to explore law enforcement services on an in-depth basis with hands-on exercises. It also provides education and safety training, and exposes students to a variety of career paths. The eight week program which meets once a week, takes place June thru July, is enriching, educational and fun.
