Sponsored by the YMCA of South Florida, the Weston YMCA Family Center and the City of Weston

Join your friends and family for a holiday celebration run in and around roadways near Weston Regional Park.

Race starts/ends:  Weston Regional Park, 20200 Saddle Club Road

Time: Race starts at 7 AM. 

  • $25 early registration (through 6/14)

  • $30 registration (6/15 – 7/3)

  • $35 on race day (7/4)

Race day registration/packet pickup: 5:30 until 6:50 AM.
Description: An out and back course which is flat and fast!

WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH | PARADE STARTS AT 10:30 AM

Weston Town Center (and surrounding area)

Join us at the City of Weston’s 2018  Fourth of July Hometown Parade!  Participants including elected leaders, local businesses, civic groups, schools, bands, organizations and residents gather to march in Weston’s biggest and most exciting event. 

GRAND MARSHAL:  Craig Setzer, Weston Resident and CBS4 Miami Chief Meteorologist

Show off your patriotic pride -- wear your red, white and blue, and come out and cheer on parade participants.

The Parade starts at Town Center Blvd. and Three Village Road.  It heads down Three Village Road and then winds its way down Main Street in Weston Town Center!

Multi-Family Units with DUMPSTERS:

* Saturday, July 21st

 

Pick up occurs on your regularly scheduled collection day.  All items should be curbside by 7:00 AM on pick up day.

Bulk items include but are not limited to:

 

  • Furniture, mattresses, carpets and other large household items.
  • Large and small appliances, such as dishwashers, laundry machines and stoves.
  • Refrigerators or air conditioners must have Freon removed by a certified dealer.
  • Mirrors, glass, glass top tables, windowpanes, and plate glass items should be safely placed in a rigid container to facilitate safe collection.

NOT COLLECTED: Bulk items DO NOT include contractor-generated material, or vegetative waste (landscape materials) or household hazardous waste (HHW). Vegetative/Landscape waste is collected with your regular garbage collection.

THINK BEFORE YOU THROW – CONSIDER DONATING

Help those in need, keep items out of the waste stream, and get a tax deduction. Several national organizations will even pick-up directly from your residence – you don’t have to wait for bulk pick-up day! There are many local, well-established charitable organizations that readily accept donated items.
