Hurricane season is June 1 through November 30. Before the season begins, you should have a plan for your family, home and business that you can implement should a storm threaten our area.

The City of Weston staff are trained in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) for emergency operation activations. Should a storm threaten our area, the City would activate its Emergency Operations Center and prepare for the possible impacts the storm would have due to high velocity winds, excessive rain, etc.

Should a Hurricane Watch or Warning be issued for South Florida, stay tuned to local media and stay connected to the City of Weston through our various social media and email options. Connect with your City by subscribing to our various notification outlets.
