COVID-19 Vaccines

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines for their age group. Updated (bivalent) boosters became available this Fall (September 2 for ages 12 & over and October 12 for ages 5 to 11).  If you have not yet received a vaccine after the most recent boosters became available, follow the guidance offered by CDC, linked below:

• Children and teens ages 6 months to 17 years

•  Adults ages 18 years and older

Additionally, if you recently had COVID-19, getting a vaccine after you recover will provide added protection against COVID-19 for the future.

• If you recently had COVID-19, you may consider delaying your next vaccine dose (primary dose or booster) by three months from when your symptoms started or, if you had no symptoms, when you first received a positive test.
• People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised have different recommendations for COVID-19 vaccines.
