Daylight Saving Time will start at 2:00 AM local time on Sunday, March 8.
Do not forget to turn your clocks AHEAD by one hour, ideally at bedtime on Saturday night before. Manually adjust any timepieces and timekeeping technological devices that do not automatically adjust.
BSO Fire Rescue also recommends changing the batteries in your smoke alarms/detectors and carbon monoxide detectors at the same time. When in working order – they save lives.
Any elderly or disabled residents who need their smoke alarm batteries changes can call the Fire Department for this service at 954-389-2015.
