The City of Weston has updated the Estoppel/Lien Search request process. The new process will use a fully electronic submission method within an existing software program called Accela, currently used by the City for electronic building permits.

Register for an Account

The new process will require you to first log in and register your contact information. 

Make a Request

Once logged in, you will be asked to complete a brief online application for each Parcel ID, (which will replace the current estoppel request form.) This will allow you to submit the application for the search directly into a queue, and once paid for, the application will be submitted electronically to the online system. The search is still performed manually by staff, and once completed, you will receive an automatic email with instructions on how to access the information. The lien search results provided will remain the same, although the reports have undergone some updates.

Online Payment

Only credit cards will be accepted through this online platform. You will be prompted for payment during the request process. Receipts will be provided at time of payment through the Accela system.
