At the City of Weston, we believe integrity and honesty are the foundation on which trustworthiness is built. We believe professional management is essential to effective, efficient, equitable, and democratic local government. We affirm the dignity and worth of local government services and maintain a deep sense of social responsibility as trusted public servants. We are dedicated to the highest ideals of honor and integrity in all public and personal relationships in order that all City officials, employees, staff, and contractors may merit the respect and confidence of the public.
As such, all City officials, employees, staff, and contractors shall, always, demonstrate a commitment to professionalism and diligence in the performance of their duties. Furthermore, all City officials, employees, staff, and contractors shall not engage in any illegal or unethical conduct, or any activity which would constitute a conflict of interest that has not been properly disclosed to the appropriate parties. And finally, all City officials, employees, staff, and contractors shall, always, exhibit the highest level of integrity in the performance of all professional assignments, and will accept only assignments for which there is a reasonable expectation that the assignment will be completed with professional competence.
