Mayors' Chess Challenge

Chess players of all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate in this event that is part of a series of events hosted by Mayors throughout Broward County in support of Scholastic Chess. This event is part of a series of monthly challenges hosted by the Mayors along with other elected officials and community leaders throughout Broward County.

Mayor Daniel Stermer will be playing in this friendly open competition which is a celebration of scholastic chess.  This is an opportunity for the novices, the experts and all ranges in-between to join in the fun.  At the Weston Challenge Mayor Stermer will be joined by members of the City Commission and the community. While many of the Commissioners don’t play chess, they will be there to support all of those playing!   It’s Your Move!  For details, call 954-746-3250.
