Weston Public Notice for Grant Application - Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program

Notice is hereby given that the City of Weston is offering residents the opportunity to make comments on the proposed grant application for the Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program competitive solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to address unmet infrastructure needs related to protection of critical facilities.
The projects consist of improvements to the City’s wastewater lift stations and stormwater pump station. Each project will consist of hardening and enhancement activities to the facilities to improve daily functions as well as resiliency during an emergency. The City will provide more information on the scope and estimated costs for each project at the time of the meeting. The program does not require matching funds from the City.
