Initially a day to honor George Washington, Presidents' Day has expanded to celebrate the successes of all our chief executives. Florida is the largest state not to have produced a United States president, while eight have come from Virginia.

All City administrative offices (City Hall, the Community Center, the Public Works Services Center, and the Building Department) will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day.

All City parks will be open.  There will be regularly scheduled garbage collection.
