Ages 8 and up are invited to participate in our FREE Hands-only CPR training, which also includes how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), and bleeding control techniques in the event of an emergency. Hands-only CPR is a simplified form of CPR using only compressions and no breaths. Participants will receive instruction from BSO Fire Rescue. In just one hour you will learn life-saving instruction on CPR, how to operate an AED and Bleeding Control.
Brain damage can occur in four minutes. For every minute without CPR, the chance of survival decreases by 10%. A community needs to rely on one another. A cardiac event or drowning can happen anytime.
