Project construction began Monday, May 8, 2023 and the new schedule for completion will be by the end of the year. 

An Open House for residents was held on Dec. 14, 2022.

The City is implementing the re-construction of stormwater retention swales in the entire neighborhood located along Sailboat Circle. 

The project scope includes the following: 

• excavation
• lowering, and
• re-grading of swale areas
• installation of addition drainage pipe and structures
• sod and restoration

HIGHLIGHTS: 

Project - Sailboat Circle Roadway Drainage Improvements (Surtax Funded R&M Project #BC-WESTON-FY2020-00001)

• Traffic Impacts - Lane Closures within Project limits with access to local traffic when contractor is working.
  
  
• Project Benefits - This project will alleviate the localized flooding on the roadway, sidewalk, and individual driveways in the neighborhood.
