City Saves Residents $1.7M By Paying Off BDD & KBB Bonds Early
Bonds were issued in 2002 with an interest rate that stepped up from 1.75% at issuance to 5.125% at maturity with a final payment date of November 1, 2022. Bonds are paid in full early with property assessment prepayments and funds available in the bond reserve account, saving $1.7 million.
