Financial Policies

The City of Weston follows specific policies that form the basis of the city’s daily operations.   The policies establish objectives and provide guidelines and specific rules necessary in accomplishing the City’s operating and capital programs.

2034 Strategic Value and Business Plan

The 2034 Strategic Value and Business Plan was prepared by the Finance Department in 2024 and adopted by the City Commission of the City of Weston, Florida and as the governing board of the Indian Trace Development District, and as the governing board of the Bonaventure Development District on April 1, 2024. The Plan provides an update, expansion and continuation of the 2028 Strategic Value and Business Plan, proposing long-term strategic policy, and serving as an operating and financial guide that takes into account the current economic environment and its impact.

Public Records Requests

Most of Weston’s Financial reports and documents can be found online.   Should you need to make a request for a copy of a document or to review a document, a public records request can be made through the City Clerk’s Office.
