Emergency supplies should be adequate to sustain your household for a minimum of three to five days.  A 10-day supply of water, food, and medicine is highly recommended.  Remember, whether you are sheltering at home or at a public shelter, you must have adequate supplies.

MAKE A GO BAG/KIT

The Broward Sheriff's Office has provided a list of essential items to help you make a "Go Bag" or "Go Kit" to make it less stressful in the event that you have to evacuate in the event of emergency.  This is a small bag of essential items that you can essentially grab and go.
